The objective of the sub-project is industrial research and experimental development aimed at acquiring new knowledge and skills for the development of proven technology, which will include the development of a new software environment for industrial process control in furniture production based on a pre-defined philosophy respecting the Industry 4.0 initiative.

This sub-project addresses the issue of efficiency gains by creating a new data and information transfer system that provides appropriate interconnections and allows the Industry 4.0 initiative to be applied to furniture manufacturing. It solves missing complete technological processes (technologies) incl. SW system and applications for furniture makers especially in the field of custom production.

The expected result of the project is a Proven technology, ie a production machine with a connection to a new control SW effectively connecting data to and from the machine.

Utilization: This output will have a high potential for use among all furniture manufacturers, especially for custom manufacturing, as the new system will allow for high flexibility in data entry and will allow to change production according to customer requirements or material requirements from suppliers.

The output will be a completely new system operating on principles corresponding to the needs of custom production and its interconnection with other processes.
