Mobitex – Furniture and Interior Design Fair in Brno

MOBITEX the International Fair for Furniture and Interior Design was held on April 26 – April 29, 2017 in Brno.

The Cluster of Czech Furniture Manufacturers, the cooperative was one of the exhibitors at the trade fair and you could visit it at the BVV premises in Hall F / 065. These members of KČN exhibited and presented their product portfolio at the stand: Dřevodílo Rousínov, v.d. ;  Dřevotvar družstvo; FMP-Lignum, výrobní družstvo; GERBRICH s.r.o. ; JITONA a.s. ; LOXO; KNK CZ výrobně spotřební družstvo.

Except KČN stand, a seminar „FURNITURE_ DESIGN_STANDARDS_PROMOTION_SUPPORT“  and also public meeting of the KČN management team which was held at the trade fair on April 26, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. at Pavillon F, Výstaviště 1, 647 00 Brno.

Cluster of Czech Furniture Manufacturers, the cooperative participated in the 5th year of KČN Prize Award for extraordinary furniture design (CZK 10,000 + intership at a cluster member company Jitona, a.s.) in the student section of the Grand Prix MOBITEX.

Exhibits that has been awarded:

Bench Proleon by author Jan Vašut, Mendel University in Brno, Faculty of Forest and Wood Technology, Department of Furniture, Design and Habitat (CZK 4 000).

Bedside table Rudolf by authors Filip Streck and Andrea Vojkůvková, Mendel University in Brno, Faculty of Forest and Wood Technology, Department of Furniture, Design and Habitat (CZK 6 000).

Award of the Cluster of Czech Furniture Manufacturers, cooperative with internship at KČN member company JITONA a.s. won the Exhibit:  upholstered armchair Rollo by author Milan Mátl, Mendel University in Brno, Faculty of Forest and Wood Technology, Department of Furniture, Design and Habitat.
