Members of the Cluster of Czech Furniture Manufactrers Established New Business Contacts at Sourcing Taiwan 2026

Taichung, Taiwan – On 1 September 2026, representatives of member companies of the Cluster of Czech Furniture Manufacturers (KČN), with the support of the Taiwan Trade and Investment Service Center, Prague, participated in the international business event Sourcing Taiwan 2026 in Taichung, Taiwan. Monika Perďochová, KČN Internationalization Manager, also attended the event in person, representing member companies that were unable to participate themselves. The programme, focused on individual B2B meetings followed by networking, provided an opportunity to establish contacts with Taiwanese manufacturers and suppliers and explore new possibilities for cooperation.

Sourcing Taiwan is a specialized platform designed to connect international buyers and companies with Taiwanese manufacturers and suppliers. Participants have the opportunity to attend pre-arranged one-on-one business meetings tailored to their specific requirements and areas of interest.

For KČN member companies, participation in the event provided an opportunity to learn more about the products and solutions offered by Taiwanese manufacturers, establish new business contacts and discuss potential future cooperation. Particular attention was paid to products and technical solutions relevant to furniture manufacturing, including furniture fittings, fasteners and other technical components.

Individual B2B Meetings and Networking

The main part of the programme consisted of pre-arranged individual B2B meetings with selected Taiwanese partners. Participants were able to present their specific requirements, learn more about the products and solutions available and directly discuss opportunities for future cooperation.

During these meetings, Monika Perďochová also represented the interests of KČN member companies that were unable to attend the event in person, presenting their requirements and areas of interest to potential Taiwanese partners.

Following the official B2B meetings, participants had the opportunity to take part in informal networking, providing additional space for personal interaction, continuing discussions initiated during the business meetings and further developing newly established contacts.

New Opportunities for Cluster Members

Participation in Sourcing Taiwan 2026 enabled KČN member companies to gain first-hand insight into the capabilities of Taiwanese manufacturers and to explore products, components and technical solutions that may be relevant to the Czech furniture and woodworking industries.

Participation in international B2B events of this kind forms part of KČN’s activities aimed at supporting the internationalization, innovation and competitiveness of its members. Through representation by the Internationalization Manager, member companies that are unable to attend a particular international event in person can also benefit from these opportunities.
