MOBITEX 2019

MOBITEX, the International Fair for Furniture and Interior Design was held on February 27 – March 2, 2019 in Brno.

The Cluster of Czech Furniture Manufacturers, the cooperative was one of the exhibitors at the trade fair and you could visit it at the BVV premises in Hall F / 032. These members of KČN exhibited and presented their product portfolio at the stand: DRUPOL, výrobní družstvo ;  DŘEVODÍLO ROUSÍNOVA, v.d. ;  DŘEVOJAS výrobní družstvo ;  Dřevotvar družstvo ;  GERBRICH s.r.o. ;  JITONA a.s. ; WOOD 4 EVER s.r.o.

In addition to the KČN stand, the trade fair also hosted the Carpentry Championship of the Czech Republic, which was announced by the Cluster of Czech Furniture Manufacturers, cooperative. The competition was held on February 27, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. On March 1, 2019 the  KČN seminar was held from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at lecture pier at Pavillon F, Výstaviště 1, 647 00 Brno.

Cluster of Czech Furniture Manufacturers, the cooperative participated in the 7th year of KČN Prize Award for extraordinary furniture design (CZK 10,000 + intership at a cluster member company) in the student section of the Grand Prix MOBITEX.

Exhibits that has been awarded:

• Living room set Rectangle by author Kristýna Jachurová, Mendel University in Brno, Faculty of Forest and Wood Technology, Department of Furniture, Design and Habitat (CZK 5 000).
• work desk to the residential interior by author Andrea Vojkůvková, Mendel University in Brno, Faculty of Forest and Wood Technology, Department of Furniture, Design and Habitat (CZK 5 000).
